Apparently I fouled up while trying to save photos from my iPhone to my iMac using iTunes.
iMac is running Yosemite 10.10.1
iTunes version is 12.0.1.26
iPhone 5 running iOS 8.1.2
Instead of copying the photos from the phone to the computer I ended up with my iPhoto albums downloaded to my iPhone. I want to remove these albums as they take up a lot of space and I don't need them on the phone.
On the iPhone in Photos my camera roll and all the albums appear. However there is no trash can icon in the albums that I want to delete. Not for the entire album or for the individual photos.
i want to keep my camera roll and video photos, everything else can be deleted.
I have tried using Preview, Image capture, iTunes and if to remove these albums but have failed. The albums on the phone do not appear in Preview, image capture or iPhoto.
I iTunes if I uncheck Syne Photos I get a pop up message that says iPhoto remove previously synced photos from my iPhone. It didn't.
What can I do?
Thanks,
Bobby
