I'm on my third iPhone (a 5s) and have never used any type of cleaning solution on a screen. I breathe on it and wipe with a t-shirt, microfiber cloth or whatever is handy. When necessary, a very slightly dampened soft cloth spot cleans any sticky stuff. Not one of the phones has scratched.
I'd stay away from chemicals if I were you.
