Reset Network Settings has nothing to do with email. You may have to reset connections to BT, WiFi connections. It will reset cellular networks connections, with your providers latest settings. It has nothing to do with email settings, just your ability to reach the email servers.

When I reset Network Settings will I have to reinstall the accounts in Mail? I tried deleting and reinstalling the email acct which can't send. It didn't make any difference in response. I still couldn't use it to send out an email, but it did redownload hundreds of emails I had already deleted once. I wouldn't want to have to go through that again.

It's too bad the Mail app doesn't allow a Select All > Delete. Removing hundreds of emails manually was a colossal pain.
