Have you tried resetting your settings on the iPhone, and in your iCloud account, with regards to syncing?
I have been reading a lot of complaints about Yahoo email recently, so that that is working surprises me. I do believe I read something in the last couple of weeks of activities moving iCloud accounts around between servers. It is not like Apple has not ever dropped the ball on their cloud services.
Have you tried calling AppleCare?
