Use the USB cable that came with your phone and plug your phone in with iTunes open.
On the left side you should see a device called Erich's iPhone or whatever you named it.
Click on that. In the main screen you'll be able to customize what gets on your iPhone. There's a sync button on the bottom right corner. Clicking that will backup your phone and sync anything that needs syncing both ways. Sync settings are in the various tabs in that main page.
You can only see these pages when your phone is plugged in.
You also have a choice to backup or sync to your computer or to iCloud. You should have at least a backup on your computer to easily get to.
If you've never done this, it could take awhile to complete. It also may ask you questions so plan to babysit it for a bit. Especially if you have the same calendar data on both and it finds conflicts. Once past that, you should be home free.
