Every device on my Wi-Fi network has a unique name. AirPort Extreme 7.6.3
I try to Wi-Fi sync my iPhone 5 (IOS 6.1.3) to my Mac Pro (Mac OS X 10.8.3,
  iTunes 11.0.2)
Lately, iTunes pops up with a a message, "Computer name is already in use
  on this network..."
It then proceeds to give my Mac Pro a new name, by appending a number
within parentheses, or, on subsequent attempts, changing the number in
  parens.
The iPhone then disappears from the device list in iTunes.
I quit and restart iTunes, but as soon as I hit the sync button, the same
  thing happens again.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? It would appear that the computer
name appears somewhere in network cache, but I can;t figure out where. I
have rebooted the AirPort, but the problem remains.
  Thanks for any insights,
  Jon
