[apple-iphone] Dismiss/Alert Pop-up Message & Signing out of Gmail

 

Hi,

I have an iPhone 4S. I use Gmail. When I open the Gmail to check my email
messages, I get a series of pop-up messages that request that I DISMISS or
READ the message(s). This happens in a series for all the messages that I
received since the last time I've checked my 4S Gmail messages. I'm
wondering if there's a setting for me to stop that from happening?

I'm also wondering if there's a way to sign out of the Gmail account on the
4S so I can sign into my other Gmail account?
