Interesting. They should be able to get you fixed up. It would be

Hi - By "breaking up" I mean they are talking but I only hear about 60% of
it. Yet the earbuds are fine listening to a book or music. I am not sure
how I sound to the person on the other end.
I went to the Apple store tonight to make an appointment and they said they
do have stock for a replacement.
