I have been doing a lot of driving for work the past few weeks. So far my iPhone 5 has barely let me down on directions and navigation.
However, one thing I'm trying to determine.
Is there anywhere in the Maps app that provides a gauge of distance? For example, this weekend I drove from Iowa to Indiana. Out on the country roads, I would "squeeze" the map to view city-to-city. I could never really tell if I was 5 miles away or 25 miles, because there was no gauge to see an inch = 10 miles, etc.
Does such a thing exist? Am I just not seeing it? It would be nice to have when traveling long distances between towns and not knowing exactly how far away it is.
