I read an article on mac rumours that TC is aware and are looking at it. Whether that means 3 weeks or 3 years who knows . If it was me I'd just take the hit and re buy the paid apps, and move on

Sandy, like I said, it has gone on for years. I got my first Apple ID in 1998, and things have not changed in all that time.
So just get used to it.On Jan 15, 2014, at 5:40 AM, Sandy Foster wrote:> Join the club. A lot of us have run into this, and there is no way to merge multiple Apple IDs. Be glad you only have two. I've had four and I have finally abandoned one of them, and hardly use another.
I acquired my first Apple ID before iCloud was available; I didn't see the point of paying for MobileMe at the time, since I had an email address through my private domain. So that Apple ID is now used only for iTunes and Mac App Store purchases. Then, in order to use some of the iCloud functions, I needed to get another ID, this time with the .me suffix. This is the one I use for syncing my iCloud Notes, Contacts, Calendars, etc., between devices. I really wish I could merge the two IDs, no matter which one ended up being the final "winner", but it's not looking good.
