It is just a weather app, and most are getting their information from the National Weather Service, NOAA, so basically the difference is in the presentation.
I use the free version of AccuWeather, and it is reasonably accurate. I used to work at wind farms where it is critical to have accurate timely weather reports, and many of the guys used AccuWeather.

I've heard that the Dark Sky app is excellent at predicting precipitation. But does it work well all over the country or are there iffy parts away from major metro areas? I live in a small town in Vermont. Would this app be worth it for someone in an area like mine?
If anyone has this app, I'd love to hear your review/opinion.
Many thanks,
Cathy
