Re: [apple-iphone] Unlimited how important

They do now. That alone was why I dropped the unlimited plan. It comes in handy when my Charter broadband goes down at home or when on the road with my wifi only iPad.

for me it was no big deal.  I made the switch to a smart-phone in the first place drawn by the unlimited data plan.  we travel in our RV 6-mos a year and had envisioned using the phone to stream video when we were on the road.  that never materialized as other options were available (mostly RV parks with cable TV).  I recently dropped my unlimited plan when I upgraded from my IP4 to an IP5.  my wife got an IP4s and I picked up an original iPad mini when the new line was introduced.  we've since gone to the Verizon share everything plan with 4GB of data and I think I can probably drop that down to a 2GB plan since we're on wifi most of the time.  suggest you get and use the free DataMan app which will track your data usage on cell and wifi.

So I have held onto my unlimited data for years. How important when I average 500M? Plan allows for 1G. Over 1G another $15. So those who have changed have you regretted it?
