Hotspot...hmm....i don't think att allows that...at least they didn't...correct?
TLfor me it was no big deal. I made the switch to a smart-phone in the first place drawn by the unlimited data plan. we travel in our RV 6-mos a year and had envisioned using the phone to stream video when we were on the road. that never materialized as other options were available (mostly RV parks with cable TV). I recently dropped my unlimited plan when I upgraded from my IP4 to an IP5. my wife got an IP4s and I picked up an original iPad mini when the new line was introduced. we've since gone to the Verizon share everything plan with 4GB of data and I think I can probably drop that down to a 2GB plan since we're on wifi most of the time. suggest you get and use the free DataMan app which will track your data usage on cell and wifi.

So I have held onto my unlimited data for years. How important when I average 500M? Plan allows for 1G. Over 1G another $15. So those who have changed have you regretted it?
