I got it the other day with the latest iTunes update. I uninstalled the 5 Apple softwares the next night, rebooted, installed iTunes. All fine

I got this message a while back and tried all sorts of things.  I even tried removing the listed programs but did not know the 'correct' order at the time.  Nothing worked for me.  I finally tried running a registry cleaning program and let it repair the registry.  That worked.  I do not reccomend the average user try this.
