Re: [apple-iphone] Unlimited how important

I don't regret it at all. Have saved several hundred dollars in charges since I dropped and given all the restrictions on the amount of data you can download before they throttle your speed, I have no regrets.

I usually avg less than 300 MB a month so I keep myself on the lowest plan. AT&T sends an alert out when I hit 60% and then 90% of the monthly limit. When I hit 90%, I change my plan to the next higher backdating if necessary and then change it back the following month.

If you are okay monitoring your bill, it works out pretty well. For my iPad, when we travel and I want a hotspot, I will make the plan 5GB for the week I'm traveling and then go back to 300 MB.

So I have held onto my unlimited data for years. How important when I average 500M? Plan allows for 1G. Over 1G another $15. So those who have changed have you regretted it?
