I use Teamviewer for this same type of support for my mother and her PC. It works very well and is free.

I know i have read somewhere that it's possible to "see" a computer screen from a remote location. Here's the situation:
I have an elderly relative who lives some distance away and she occasionally encounters problems with her MacBook. I get on the phone with her and try to talk her through some diagnostics and possible solutions, but invariably, there are miscommunications and I discover that she is not seeing the same options I am or she is simply on another page.
Do any of the wise people on this group know how I can "see" her screen, and possibly even move a curser on her desktop?
In the back of my mind I think I recall some app/program that permits that with both users' agreement.
Thoughts?
TIA,
Richard
