Ok, that won't be the issue then. Next step is t check settings for any battery hogging settings, as these will use more CPU as well.

I noticed that after the iOS 9.0 update and continuing into the iOS 9.1 update that my iPhone 5 has a slower response time to my input.there is a delay from the time I touch an icon to the time that the phone responds. It is probably a short delay but sometimes going from no delay to a short delay seems like an eternity when one is accustomed to an immediate response.Clearing Safari memory and data, no open apps, turning off and on and resetting had no affect on this issue.i have a 32GB iPhone 5 and 15.6 GB is available.The delay is about a second or two.Bobby
