Strangest thing, my daughter is in the market for a new iPhone to replace her 5. She wanted to see the rose gold prior to committing, so we went by our local Apple Store Friday, she liked the color and was then undecided about 6s or the plus. Slept on it and decided on the 6s, we went to our local AT&A store today to see about getting a 64g rose gold, turns out they didn't get any of any size in the rose gold and it would be a 5 to 7 week wait for the phone, I used the Apple Store app and was able to order one with a 1 to 2 week wait. Comes under our Next program and will ship to the house, the folks at the AT&A store will help with the setup if necessary.

That's cause Most line up at the Apple Store. I'm waiting until next year to get the iPhone7. No need to upgrade from my 6 to a 6(s).

that would keep some folk away...Strangest thing. Was planning on waiting a few weeks to get my 6S to wait out the initial rush. However we just happened to be driving by my AT&T store this morning an saw no lines. Stopped by and was shocked they had ALL sizes and colors in stock. And this on first day avaliable in stores. So picked a new 64k 6S and totally love the thing. But was wondering, what happened to the long waits that normally come with a new iPhone release?
