[apple-iphone] Re: iPhone 6s availability

One of the 'cool' things about the iPhone Upgrade Program (available only in the USA??) is that there is NO interest charge...  unless I calculated wrong, the monthly charge is exactly equal to the price of the iPhone plus the price of AppleCare, divided by 24. After making 12 payments, you can trade the phone in for a new one. I believe that the new one does not have to be the same model...  your new one could be a different size or have different storage capacity. Another piece of good news is that if you wish, you can switch to a less expensive service plan that does not have the cost of the device built into the cost of service...  you could even switch to a $3.00 per month Pay-as-you-go plan!  The bad news is that trading for a new phone every year is inherently expensive.

You get the iPhone from the Apple Store.
It's unlocked but you replace your current iPhone on your current line.
You pay Apple though the loan is through a 3rd party financial institution in monthly increments.
Your loan is for 24 payments but after 12 you can upgrade your iPhone. So each year you can upgrade.

I pay 44.91 a month for my 128GB iPhone 6S Plus.
