We purchase our lightning cables from Rite Aid, a local pharmacy. The cable is more heavy duty than the Apple or Amazon lightning cables. The cable costs $20. With the Apple and Amazon cables we have had trouble with the cables fraying near the end that plugs into the iDevice.
