A close friend and I both use Consumer Cellular -- he for well over a year, I for over six months -- and we are both very, very pleased with all aspects of the service, not least its pricing.

I have the senior plan at $45 month: 200 minutes phone, 200 MB data and no texting. Consumer Cellular seems very reasonable and tempting. Here is a link to their plans.
