Do a network reset. If that doesn't work then take it to apple store and they can check battery.

I have had this iPhone for 1.5 years now.
Seems all of a sudden (last 2 weeks or so) my iPhone 5 battery life drops down to almost nothing quickly. I always have the iPhone plugged in and charging when I am in the house, so that its when I pick it up to leave at any given time is almost always fully charged (100%)
At bedtime I unplug it and put it on a nightstand. I usually to bed late 12- 1 AM, get up at 8 am, and lately when I get up, the phone has only 50% of a charge or less.
Could I have accidentally turned something "on" on my phone thats draining the battery?
Are there things I can TURN OFF that will conserve the battery?
OR is it simply a case of my phones battery going out.
I'd appreciate any help on this, if you want to reply directly to me there is a link below.
