If it's an iPhone 5C, must be less than a year old. It's still under warranty. Go claim your replacement. And don't forget to leave them feedback that their cables have the worst quality. I did. They would deny and claim that their cables are manufactured to last for a very long time. We all know they're not.
They called me up and said the replacement is ready for pickup.

After my Apple cable frayed and shorted, I have been buying lightning cables that don't work.I borrowed a friend's Belkin that worked and ordered the identical cable to replace it. That didn't work on mine but did on hers - so did the others I had previously bought. What would cause only one cable to work on mine? Thanks in advance,Mark
