My new iPhone6 now says it is running iOS 8.0 this a.m. Although I have had no problems with it since I purchased it from Verizon on Sept. 19th.
I did buy a very slim Incipo cover for it, and I carry in in my front pocket of my jeans most to the time. I can't imagine how one would "bend" this phone. Especially with a cover of some type. I can feel it in my pocket, and I sure would not maneuver into a position that would literally bend the phone or press against something that would damage it while it's in my pocket. I would remove it first. My jeans are not skin tight either---like some people wear.
If people think the new iPhone6 is like their previous models of iPhones---it isn't. It's larger, and for some it probably should not be "pocketed" tightly. Use your common sense. It's larger and thinner and of course could be prone to damage if misused.
The camera is Amazing! The clarity is Amazing! I have no regrets with the iPhone6.
