I don't know, but I've accomplished the same result whether I've restored an iOS device from iCloud or iTunes on my computer. I like using both methods regularly as a precaution against data loss.
Do you know if you accomplish the same backup (same data backed up) via wireless to iCloud compared to wired to iTunes on my MacBook?DickSent from my iPad 4------------------------------------------------Richard E Johnson, ScM, MD, DABA

What is the difference between iCloud wifi backup (which I haven't used with the iPhone 4 so far) and regular corded iTunes backup to my MacBook? When I go to turn on iCloud wifi backup, the phone states "Your iPhone will no longer backup to your computer automatically when you sync with iTunes." Does it mean I can manually Sync and back it up to iTunes if I wish when wired to the MacBook, or that the iTunes backup option will not be available?
