Sandy, you can turn that off, at Settings-Facetime-Iphone Cellular Calls
Or, you can keep the other devices on mute when not in use? That way when you are using them (mute or not muted), the convenience is there

4. The only complaint I have with Messages is that I'm not sure like it (and phone calls) ringing on both of my i-devices; it's distracting. Maybe I'll get used to it after a bit more time, though.
