I tried everything suggested and couldn't find any way to remove the color from the header. Tapping on it took me nowhere.

Rebooting my phone did remove the color from the header, but I don't know what caused the problem.

It is nice when an OP writes that his/her issue is resolved. Or adds more info so we can narrow in on the answer.
