This applies to the most recent music app on the iPhone.
I often have the need to stop an mp3 from playing to converse with a person or a dog. I used to be able to rewind the program to where I was interrupted and then play from that point. Or if I wanted to listen to a passage again I could stop, rewind and then play from that point. I am listening to lectures and classes not music.
Those controls are no longer visible on my iPhone 5 iOS version 8.4 while the screen is visible and the program is playing.
The controls will be visible when when I wake up a dark screen but it is inconvenient to wait for the screen to go dark to continue my listening.
Is there somewhere I should be looking for this control that I can't find?
