Try rebooting both the phone and your computer. That had helped me in the past.

My biggest problem has been in iMessage.  Now it seems to be happening almost everyday.  I even had to reboot a few times to fix it.


Overall I am still glad I got it, I hope public beta 3 is coming soon though.

When you are in the My Music section of the Music app, tap on the type selection (mine usually shows Albums) that is in the middle of the page with a downward facing arrow to choose Songs.  You will then see your songs in alpha order and can just start playing them.

I've had email close for no reason, iMessage shut down and my 2ns gen iPad mini reboot for no reason. Doesn't happen very often so I don't mind.  I expect things like that with betas.

All in all I like iOS 9. I like the slide out side bar and use it quite a bit, especially for iMessage. Side-by-side app multitasking doesn't work for me. My iPad mini is too old.

I don't jailbreak anymore.  I don't see the need to. Last time I did a jailbreak was iOS 6 and most of what I found in apps were to do things like changing icons, moving backgrounds, themes and futsy things like that.

[apple-iphone] music app beef

 

This applies to the most recent music app on the iPhone.


I often have the need to stop an mp3 from playing to converse with a person or a dog. I used to be able to rewind the program to where I was interrupted and then play from that point. Or if I wanted to listen to a passage again I could stop, rewind and then play from that point. I am listening to lectures and classes not music.


Those controls are no longer visible on my iPhone 5 iOS version 8.4 while the screen is visible and the program is playing.


The controls will be visible when when I wake up a dark screen but it is inconvenient to wait for the screen to go dark to continue my listening.


Is there somewhere I should be looking for this control that I can't find?
