I buy outright and moved a few months ago to Red Pocket (on AT&T). They have plans on all 4 major networks. They have a wide range of monthly plans (and annual plans available only on eBay)
I moved from Consumer Cellular to save money. I use almost no minutes and and the web only for email and Safari. My annual cost is $55 for the Red Pocket eBay Store "$60" plan (100-100-500MB per month, with economical add-ons available mid-month)
