I would log into his account on iCloud.com on your computer web browser. This will allow you to view the Mail app (as well as the other apps available). In the mail app select the INBOX. All of his messages will show up on the right. From there you can select all (Command/A on a Mac) and choose the trash can. Or you can hold down the COMMAND key and select the ones you want to delete - then click on the trash can. > On Jan 19, 2018, at 1:54 PM, Devitt devittad@comcast.net [apple-iphone] <apple-iphone@yahoogroups.com> wrote: > > Is there any way to delete large numbers of mail from the MAILapp all at once? My DH has over 5k on his 5S and cannot receive more until they are cleared out. There is no way he will take the time to remove them by checking each one individually. > > It used to be possible to select all from one account and move to Trash. That incredibly useful function seems to have been removed in one of the "updates." We share a POP account. Old, yes but necessary for a number of reasons. > > Any ideas or are we SOL? > > CD > > Sent from my iPad > > > ------------------------------------ > Posted by: Devitt <devittad@comcast.net> > ------------------------------------ > > > ------------------------------------ > > Yahoo Groups Links > > > >
