I agree Otto. There are two different kinds of people. Those that protect their iPhones and those that could care less how much it costs and don't have any heartache dropping it and abusing it.

I protect my iPhones, and have never had any non-trivial scratches or breakage, in 9 years.. I used a screen protector ONCE, on my first 3G. I use a case – and a protective one at that, not decorative – ALWAYS.
