Today I received my new MacBook Pro 13 inch Touchbar with the USB-C 61 watt power brick. I plugged in the USB-C to lightning cable to the MacBook Charger and it charged my iPhone X from 14% to 54% in 30 minutes. So in 30 minutes it's only 40% charged
Initially I've tried with the 29 Watt Apple MacBook 11 inch Charger and it charged 30% in 30 minutes. I'm guessing because it's only 29 watt power brick.
So I tried with a 29 watt PD capable Charger by Aukey and still the same result as the MacBook 11 inch charger. Same result with Aukey PD capable car charger.
My iPhone is the unlocked Verizon version. Anyone has the same problem? I don't fiddle with my phone while on the charger and I put a timer on my Apple Watch so I don't miss timed it. I figured all iPhone X are created equal, Verizon version or not.
I mean I've read articles that they charge their iPhone X from 0% to 50%. Do I have to try it from 0%? I usually charge it from 15% to 25% of power left to test its speed on fast charging.
Thanks for all the input I can get from you guys.
