Re: [apple-iphone] Re: Deleting all mail

Why not open one of the in boxes & select Edit on the upper right? Then select all, then delete?
Brent

I wish that was possible.  When you select "Edit" the only option is "Mark All."  The next selection is "Flag" or "Mark as Read."  There is no option for "Trash."  For some reason that option was removed.

On every iPhone that I have tried it on, when I open a Mail folder and tap Edit in the upper right, a little check-circle appears in front of every message.

Tap on the ones you want to delete (or move, or whatever) to select them.

When you have selected a bunch (I've rarely done more than a few dozen at once) tap Delete and, presuming there are more to remove, start doing it again.

Have you tried the highest rated email app?
With 4.5 stars in iTunes, the Yahoo Mail app is the highest rated email app on the market. What are you waiting for? Now you can access all your inboxes (Gmail, Outlook, AOL and more) in one place. Never delete an email again with 1000GB of free cloud storage.
