The dratted iphone keeps resetting my screen brightness.
I keep the screen at max brightness -- I have poor vision, and it makes reading the screen easier. But the stupid phone keeps dimming the screen during periods when the phone is locked, forcing me to reset it manually -- over and over and OVER.
I've checked the "Display & Brightness" and "Battery" pages under Settings, and I can't figure out why the screen keeps getting dimmed. It never did this with previous iOS versions.
Anybody got a clue?

Turn "Auto Brightness" OFF
Numerous people complained about this – and about hiding it in Accessibility – during the beta. Apparently Apple felt eking out more battery life was more important.
You can also adjust brightness more quickly in the slide-up Control Center tha by going all the way into Settings proper.
