> I did all of my updates OTA hoping that the old apps would automatically be deleted, but that didn't happen. The iOS update is from Apple, as are a small number of apps that are not actually part of the OS — like Numbers, Pages, Keynote, and a few others. But all those 67 apps you deleted originated with 3rd-party developers, so the iOS upgrade couldn't fix them. Now, some developers have been making their apps iOS 11 compatible for several weeks, and putting them on the App Store already. But many developers decided to wait until the final release version of iOS 11 was published before making sure their updated app was fully compatible with it. I am seeing several updates every day of incompatible apps that are now becoming compatible. I don't know if the app store app will show you updates for apps that you installed but since deleted. -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jim Saklad mailto:jimdoc@icloud.com
