Re: [apple-iphone] iOS 11 and screen brightness

Turn Auto-Brightness off.

Settings> Accessibility>Display Accommodations> Auto-Brightness> Off

I upgraded to iOS 11.0 yesterday. Most things are working fine, with the exception of an app that I already knew would die with the upgrade.

The dratted iphone keeps resetting my screen brightness.

I keep the screen at max brightness -- I have poor vision, and it makes reading the screen easier. But the stupid phone keeps dimming the screen during periods when the phone is locked, forcing me to reset it manually -- over and over and OVER.

I've checked the "Display & Brightness" and "Battery" pages under Settings, and I can't figure out why the screen keeps getting dimmed. It never did this with previous iOS versions.

Anybody got a clue?
