I had an unlimited plan with At&T - couldn't get personal hot spot, no texting and limited minutes for calls. Found I was not using a GB a month so I switched to a 2 GB shared plan. There are 3 lines for family but only I have an iPhone. What is nice is I have personal hot spot, unlimited talk and text. I did get a next plan for the iPhone 6s. I get a 15 credit for the next plan not 25 since it is linked to the amount of shared data. What they did do was up the cost of the other lines from 15 to 20 dollars per month. So essentially it is the same cost but with the other perks. If I were close to 2 GB usage I would have kept the unlimited but I was no where near approaching that amount. I didn't have to ask for the credit it came automatically.

Il just left AT&T year day after being with them for 10 years. I was not happy with their rates and their insurance policy which is to insurance the line and not the phone.
So I told them bye bye and went to T-mobile. I got everyone a brand new iPhone 6S and am still paying $100 less a month than what I was paying AT&T.
