Hello,
Goal: Transfer messages from an iPhone 4s to a 6s plus.
Backups exist for both phones.
There does not seem to be a method to transfer messages to the new phone. The new phone has been set up and has been operating for some time[3 months]. So it has photos and messages. I don’t see any method to transfer messages without overwriting the new iPhone.
Note: I can backup the Photos App and export photos to a separate hard drive or directory.
The Apple store suggested that I take screenshots of the messages desired for archive purposes then connect to Photos and import into Photos. Doable but annoying.
Any ideas?
