so here is what I did.
following instructions on line via apple website
I removed the sim card from my iPhone 5 and placed it my new iPhone 6s
and activated my new iPhone and synced it with a previous back up from my former iPhone
when it was all done (took about 30 minutes for the restore from back up to be completed)
I instantly received a txt message saying " your new device requires a new sim card to give you access of all services"
bummer
SO I tried removing the old sim card from the new iPhone 6s and replaced it with the sim card that arrived with the phone
tried setting it up as a new phone, but could NEVER get the sim card to activate and only received NO SERVICE indication on the new iPhone 6s
Therefore I returned the old sim card to the new iPhone and it all works just fine.
Im wondering WHAT SERVICES I might be lacking by using the OLD SIM CARD in the new iPhone?
I suppose I can go to an ATT store and resolve any issues but Id like to hear from the group first before I do anything
MY NEW phone works just fine, so Im not sure what services that txt message might be referring to?
