I'm running OS X 10.10.3, iOS 8.3. I have started using the new Mac Photos app with 10.10.3 and I'm using iCloud Photos Library to sync.
On the computer, I have something like "12,000 photos, 500 videos" listed at the bottom of Photos on the Mac. On the iPhone I have at the bottom of it's Photos app "11,999 photos, 500 videos, 1 item".
Both show the same number of files, just one particular file the mac sees as a photo and the phone sees as a "item". The difference is in the photos, videos are the exact same. The far majority of pictures are jpg, so I have searched for .psd, .gif, .png, .tiff, .bmp and any other I could think of. Tried google searching, but with terms such as "photos" and "item", narrowing the search was not working very well. Any ideas?
