Here's something to try:
If you are in her phone contacts you can add a specific sound for your texts (if you aren't in her contact list, you may want her to add you for this). Just go to your name in her contact list, choose EDIT, and scroll down to TEXT TONE, tap it and choose a text tone specifically for you. In Settings>Sounds> The text tone is shown as tri-tone and also classic and makes a sound when I try it on her phone.
But if I send a message from my phone, she gets the message but no notification.
Anyone help with this mystery?
