If you are both using iPhones make sure that imessage is turned on in settings then the text will go through the Apple servers not the cell phone servers.

Good morning Group! I have an iPhone and the Wife has an iPhone 6. Both have the latest updates. Her's is US Cellular, mine is Verizon. Sometimes she will not receive a text sent form my iPhone. One time I sent her a text from about 2.5 hours northeast of where she was. In another instance, there was a greater distance. Any suggestions as to the issue? Thank you!Norm
