Just a comment on the sideline, slightly related. The only time my husband went over his data package which is very low to be honest was when he was listening to one of the music apps in his car using an app like Pandora and then he was not under Wi-Fi. So I would guess for those using a lot of battery power because they're listening to streaming music rather than their own music perhaps it could be more costly because of the data situation. I would assume that using your own back up music would not use data and so a long term battery case would certainly be well worth it especially on a long airplane flight.

If you insist on STREAMING it all day long, that is true. I spend a lot of time listening to podcasts, and find my battery lasts quite a long time. But I listen to audio that is ON my iPhone.
