Alice, Based on your email, going to edit / mark all does NOT show a delete all option unless you go to edit and
individually mark each email.
1. go to email address view incoming emails
2. go to edit… at the bottom it says mark all which is lit up. Choosing mark all gives only two options: flag and mark as read
There are two other choices - move and trash- both of which are greyed out. Marking even one email lights up
move and trash, but that is for each email that is individually marked.
3. Once the items are INDIVIDUALLY marked and moved to the trash, yes the delete all button shows up,
But that is not the initial issue.
The issue is after going to view all the incoming emails, how to get them all into trash at one time - together - not just checking off
one at a time and then moving them to trash. If you have lets say 100 emails in your inbox how do you get 100 emails into trash without
checking each one off after choosing edit. There is no box that says choose all that I can see.(You can choose all of them doing what
I said, choosing the first incoming email while holding the move button. Unchoosing the first email while holding the move button then
letting go and that takes you to another link where you choose trash and they all at once go into
trash. However, once in trash, choose delete all yes but then they all return back into the inbox.) Right now I have some 480 pieces of
mail in one of my boxes. I belong to a number of lists and can not go thru all of them at once, but I would like to trash all of them
at once especially if I read some of them on my computer.)
It is kind of confusing to explain.
