I would like to be able to make iPhone backups that do not get updated... I would like to make a backup today that does not get changed for awhile even if I do additional backups... so that I could go back to today's backup a week or a month from today even if I have done other backups in the interim.
If I "archive" a backup in iTunes, will it do that? Will it create a copy that does not get changed?
Will it keep that backup on my Mac without changing it so that I can go back to it later even if I do several backups in the meantime?
Thanks for any wisdom that you would care to share... including good places to read about the details of how iTunes backups work.
