When I first got my apple phone 6+ I tried out Apple Pay - pretty neat.Lately however at two different places that worked before I could not get it to connect to the scanner and because customers were lining up behind me it as much faster getting out my plastic card.I'm almost afraid to try using it again; it seems to be more problematic that it is supposed to.Anyone else having apple pay expericence? any advice to get it to work better?ELLEN
When it first came out, it worked at CVS and RiteAid (for example) – CurrentC subscribers – then they turned off that capability.
I have tried it since then at my local RiteAid, but after the system seems to accept the payment and my TouchID, the clerk then tells me the computer screen says "invalid payment" or some such.
THIS fault is at the vendor's end.
Other than that, it had worked pretty reliably for me, excepting only that I have only a few locations besides McDonalds where I can use it.
