I am using iTunes on a Windows PC. I can't find anyway to archive a backup. Where is the setting?

The answer to my question:
iTunes keeps a "Running Backup" of your iPhone on your computer... every time that you do a backup, it "updates" the active running backup that is there... there is no provision to go back in time and restore the status as of a previous instant.EXCEPT that when you choose to "archive" a backup, iTunes makes, timestamps, and saves the current copy, which does NOT get updated the next time that a backup is taken. After you archive a backup, the next time that a backup is taken, a whole fresh new backup is made and the archived backup/backups remain unchanged until you choose to delete one or more of them.
