Today, Health app on my iPhone 6+ says I walked 10,264 steps and 0.47 miles. Before the update it used to say 10,000 steps = 4.55 miles. How do I correct the update to the way it was?

Which do you think is wrong from what you actually did: the number of steps, or the distance?
The modern "mile" derived from the Roman "mile" — a mille passuum, or 1000 passus — which actually was about about 1.48 kilometers, or 0.92 miles. The passus was a two-step "pace".
So 10,000 steps = 5000 paces ≈ 4.6 miles.
