I have tried this and several options on the internet to delete incoming phone messages.
First there is no mark all setting.
Second, when I follow others' directions on the Internet, the emails do disappear but then they reappear.
One set of instructions said go into settings and mark in mail settings, advance, and deleted email.
That did not do anything in the long run.
What I also found was that when I deleted a message on my computer in a particular email box it was also put in the trash on my phone email box. That could be because I change the settings on the phone to put emails into a deleted box. But I'm not sure that was the check that may get the ticket I won work. But if that's the reason I can then go into the computer and delete all the messages there in a mailbox and then perhaps it will get deleted on my phone at least it will go into my mailbox trash on my phone until I manually delete it.
Even in trash, There is still no way to delete all of them at once so then I manually one at a time on my phone delete each individual piece of mail. Seems like a lot of work, extra work, to delete mail on an iPhone in this age of advanced technology. When there is a lot of email piled up even on a daily basis for some mailboxes it seems ridiculous that they have no one but way to delete all of them if that is the choice.
My mail is all ipop.
