I had the same concerns when i first got my iPhone 5S and was turning Cellular off while i was home. But i soon realized it was using so little data it really didn't make much difference. It was a pain to have to turn cellular back on when i needed it. Now i just leave it on, and i haven't gone over my data limit yet.
